Strategies to improve learning equity and prevent school dropouts

IIEP Strategic Debate 2025 #2

Learning and instruction are the cornerstones of education and are essential to achieving learning equity. Evidence suggests that marginalized learners face serious challenges that require customized solutions, especially concerning gender, ethnicity, and language, while climate change further exacerbates existing inequalities.

This Debate will spotlight innovative measures for improving learning equity and preventing school dropouts currently in use in Africa, Europe, and Latin America. It will pay particular attention to early detection and preventive action to reduce dropouts.
