Perspectives on Educational Inclusion in the AI Era: Emerging Frameworks from Latin America and the Caribbean
In a context marked by the rapid digital transformation of education systems, ensuring inclusive, equitable and quality education has become one of the main challenges facing Latin America and the Caribbean. The advancement of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, opens up new opportunities to expand rights and strengthen educational pathways, but also raises risks linked to the deepening of existing inequalities.
This webinar offers a space for reflection and exchange on the challenges of educational inclusion in the digital age, addressing key dimensions such as disability, gender, interculturality, multilingualism, human mobility and socioeconomic gaps. Drawing on experiences, policies and initiatives developed across the region, specialists from international organisations, research centres and sector leaders will share perspectives on how to build digital transformation processes grounded in rights, equity and sustainability.
The activity takes place within the framework of the advanced cycle of the diploma programme Digital Talent for Educational Transformation and Innovation, promoted by UNESCO Santiago and IIEP-UNESCO in Latin America and the Caribbean, within the framework of the Regional Alliance for Educational Transformation and Innovation (ARTIE).
