Planning with sustainable impact: the challenge of developing education policies in the age of AI

His main responsibilities include promoting and identifying trends in ICT and education policies at the regional level, providing advice for the development of ICT-related projects, and managing technological platforms and portals.

Sociologue, Martín était ministre de l’Éducation du Pérou au début de la pandémie de COVID-19, en 2020. À ce titre il était responsable des systèmes d’enseignement pré-primaire, primaire, secondaire et supérieur du pays et a conçu la stratégie nationale d’enseignement à distance en réponse à la pandémie. Entre 2018 et 2020, il a été à la tête de la Superintendance nationale de l’enseignement supérieur universitaire du Pérou (SUNEDU), l’organe de régulation du système universitaire péruvien, où il a dirigé la réforme visant à améliorer la qualité de l’enseignement supérieur. De 2015 à 2018, Martín a été membre du conseil d’administration de la SUNEDU.
