Rethinking Digital Transformation in Education: Inclusion as an Ongoing Process in LAC

Digital transformation is reshaping education systems and creating new opportunities to strengthen inclusion. However, for these innovations to effectively contribute to more equitable education, it is essential to adopt approaches that recognize the diversity of learners and address multiple dimensions of inclusion.

This webinar will bring together experts to examine the challenges and opportunities that digital technologies present for educational inclusion in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). Through the analysis of policies, experiences, and innovative practices, participants will reflect on the role of regulatory frameworks and public policies in building more equitable education systems, as well as on the importance of implementing emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), from an inclusive, holistic, ethical, and informed perspective.

The activity takes place within the framework of the advanced cycle of the diploma programme Digital Talent for Educational Transformation and Innovation, promoted by UNESCO Santiago and IIEP-UNESCO in Latin America and the Caribbean, within the framework of the Regional Alliance for Educational Transformation and Innovation (ARTIE).
